Our Story

From life on the land to life by the sea

Built with purpose, styled with care

After more than three decades of dairy farming, we found ourselves ready for something slower. Not smaller, just different. A chance to step back from the early mornings and long days and to create something that felt a little more in rhythm with the kind of life we wanted next.

That next chapter became Adrift@Sisters.

Modern living room with two tan leather sofas, a round coffee table, a large plant, framed wall art, and neutral decor on a woven rug.

Set on sixteen acres just outside of town, the house was designed to be welcoming, practical and open to the landscape around it. We wanted it to feel calm, not clinical. A place to stretch out, switch off and settle in, without needing anything more than good company and a bit of quiet.

Everything here has been chosen with care, from the layout to the textures, to the way the light moves through the rooms during the day. We live nearby, so we’re close enough if needed, but far enough to give guests complete privacy.

The name Adrift came easily. Not in the sense of being lost, but gently let go. Released from routine. Open to whatever pace the day decides to bring.

We’re proud to be able to share this part of Tasmania with others, whether you’re here for a special celebration, a family getaway or just passing through. We hope you leave feeling rested, reconnected and maybe a little less rushed.

Thanks for being part of it.
